Hey. Weird question. When I was on Biblegateway.com looking for the First Nation’s translation you have mentioned which I found and it is amazing)...it did dawn on me...what makes a Bible translation a “paraphrase” versus a translation?
This makes sense. There has always been an implied “less than” on the versions that have been considered paraphrases. Was just wondering where that implied undertone came from.
