A love letter to creativity.
Beautiful, just beautiful. I’m holding my son, 2 months old, while reading this. It felt damn near spiritual. Thank you. They don’t know, but I’m going to continue to make sure we know.
The idea that the reason we as humans create because God is the Creator is very liberating. Thank you for sharing
I don't have words for how much I love this.
"We are made in the image of a Divine Creator. We can transform the chaos we’ve inherited."
I have not been very religious in my adult lift, or spiritual for that matter. But the more I read and study, the more I have recognized the wisdom in what you so succinctly stated.
This is beyond beautiful! Thank you for sharing with us, Trey 🥰
There is so much in this piece to reflect on. I think of the place in which I live, K'jipuktuk (renamed Halifax), and all that was stolen from the Mi'kmaq, who inhabited this land since time immemorial. I think about the matrix of sin (nod to Trey for this description) that made the colonizers feel entitled to steal place names and people's names from them. I think about my role in using these re-names without a thought for nearly half a century.
beautiful beyond words.
Your words open up my heart, my mind, my understanding. Thank you.
