I’m Trey.

I’m a minister, podcaster, and guy who probably plays a lil’ too much—depending on who you ask.

I’m one of the cohosts of the Three Black Men podcast, where we talk about theology, culture, and the world around us.

I’m also the creator of the New Living Treyslation podcast, where I deal with scripture in the same language I’d use talkin’ to my closest friends and then have some bona fide Bible talk about it.

When I’m not preaching or podcasting or playing too much, I’m writing.

I’m currently working on a book called Theologizin’ Bigger, slated to come out in 2024 with Lake Drive Books.

But I really enjoy writing in this space.

Why subscribe?

I like to play with words, and this is where I’m most free to do exactly that. Away from the reach of the almighty algorithm—this space allows me to explore the many places my faith leads me. Subscribing will give you full access to the newsletter and website.

Free subscribers can expect to see content a bit longer than what’s on my Twitter account and updates about whatever I may have going on.

Paid subscribers can expect bonus content, as well as monthly Ask Me (Almost) Anything posts. Paying on an annual basis will save you some money (and reduce the amount of fees that get taken out before the money makes it to its destination). But if money is ever a problem and you want to participate anyhow? Shoot me an email and we’ll get it sorted out.
