Once upon a time, I harbored political aspirations. I figured I’d start out running for a spot on the school board, then maybe check out the county commission. If I found success at either of those stops, maybe I’d explore the state’s House of Representatives or Senate. Maybe even the U.S. House one day. I thought about it. Really.
