At the end of each month, I publish a post reviewing the highs & lows of the month.
These posts are for the paying subscribers of The Son Do Move, as their generous support helps make a lot of my creative endeavors possible. However, I’m not ignorant as it pertains to the economic situations many of us are facing. I don’t want money to be the barrier to community. If you’d like to participate in these posts or take advantage of all of the other benefits of a full subscription to The Son Do Move (like accessing the full archive of posts), but a paid subscription isn’t for you right now: send a message to teamtrey05@gmail.com and we can get you plugged in.

Don’t get me wrong, it was still crazy outside. But not because it was April Fools’ Day. That’s just how outside looks right now.

  2. I got to talk about suffering in a way that didn’t make it seem… good.

I’ve found that a lot of Christian teaching on suffering makes it seem like something God wants for us in some strange way, as opposed to something that we endure because of the way we’ve structured the world.

This month, I had the chance to reflect on that in a way that I needed to hear. And sometimes, I try to preach the messages I need to hear.
